What we believe

  • We believe that there is one God (the Creator) and He is God alone: His ways are higher than our ways, even our way of being. Therefore we believe as God has revealed Himself in scripture to be God and God alone, He further revealed His being to mankind in the trinitarian association of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

    Isaiah 43:10-11; 55:9 | Matthew 28:19

  • We believe Jesus is the begotten Son of God, miraculously conceived by the Holy ghost, and born of a virgin. Jesus lived a sinless life and wrought the redemption of mankind through the shedding of His blood and substitutionary sacrifice. Jesus is the only way to redemption, salvation, heaven, and the Father. He was the Word of God in the beginning, He was born, He did work a miraculous ministry, He did die on the cross, but He was raised from the dead and ascended back on high to sit at the right hand of God as we await His inevitable return.

    Matthew | Mark | Luke | John

  • We believe anyone who is saved is entitled to, and should expect, and earnestly seek the promise of the Father: the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a paramount experience in living out an effective Christian life and witness here on Earth, even to live wholly pleasing to God in accordance with the New Covenant through Christ. This was the normal experience for everyone in the early Christian Church; that indeed comes with the enduement of power for life and service to God, the bestowment of the 9 gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. Speaking in other Tongues is the initial physical evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit in whom we receive upon being saved.

    Luke 24:49 | Acts 1:4 | Acts 1:8 | Acts 2:4 | Ephesians 4:30

  • The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments (only), are verbally inspired from God, and His method of choice to share the revelation of God to man. They are infallible, inerrant, and the ultimate authority concerning the life, faith, and righteous conduct.

    2 Timothy 3:15-17 | 1 Thessalonians 2:13 | 2 Peter 1:21

  • We believe mankind's only hope of life, salvation, and redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and by Him do we find place in the eternal Kingdom of God in Heaven. We believe salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ, who is solely responsible for the working of our salvation: we receive His finished work of grace toward us through unwavering faith in Him. And through the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit, accomplishing our justification and sanctification, man becomes an heir of God, a citizen of God’s heavenly kingdom, and a member of the body of Christ- the Church, saints who are being saved: no longer sinners. We believe a man must labor in life to maintain this gift from God, enduring in a life of holiness and righteousness before God till his end, to ultimately experience eternal salvation.
